Location: Columbus, OH (Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Candidate Preference: Local to Columbus, OH or willing to relocate.

Experience: 5 to 8 years

Must-Have Skills

Programming Languages (mandatory):
Java (primary)
Proficiency in at least one of the following: Python, C#/.Net, Mean, Ruby, JSON
Database (mandatory):
SQL
Experience with at least one of the following: MariaDB, S3, DB2, IMS
DevOps:
Familiarity with: Broadcom Endevor, BitBucket, GitHub, Jules, Jenkins
Agile:
Experience working with the Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence, Jira Align)
Understanding of Scrum/Kanban methodologies
Microservices/APIs/Containers:
Experience with developing and deploying microservices and APIs
Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
z/OS Connect: Knowledge of z/OS Connect
Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve Java-based applications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions
Work in an Agile environment, participating in sprints, backlog grooming, and retrospectives
Utilize CI/CD pipelines for automated building, testing, and deployment
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues

Qualifications

Proficiency in Java development and at least one other programming language.
Strong understanding of SQL and experience with various database systems.
Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and Agile methodologies
Familiarity with microservices architecture, APIs, and containerization technologies.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
