Minimum Position Qualification
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent
• 5 years of experience in developing Java based cloud applications, especially microservices
• Experience in building RESTful APIs and have a deep understanding of REST principles
• Experience with Java / J2EE microservices with SpringBoot is a plus
• You love to test and validate your code
• You are able to adapt to new technologies and pick up new skills quickly
• You are excited to learn and master new skills
• A passion for keeping up-to-date with the latest cloud trends and technologies.
Desired Position Qualification
• Experience in defining and configuring search engines to support faceted, keyword searches as per business rules
• Experience in configuring search engines to provide results as per the business rules defined
• Experience and knowledge in installing and configuring all the different components related to the search engine
• Hands on experience in fine tuning search engine for high performance
• Experience with Vespa, Solr, Elasticsearch, Lucene or other search frameworks
• Experience with Java, NodeJS, Go or Python or other back-end languages
• SQL and NoSQL experience
• Experience with React or Angular
• Familiarity with Linux and Google Cloud Platform or Azure
• Distributed, high performance, fault tolerant architecture and deployment processes
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
