Job Title: Java Support Analyst
Location: Chicago ( Onsite all days)
ROLE:
- Allocates resources and provides teams with necessary tools to address impediments.
- Establishes and maintains a support schedule that covers 24/7/365 support
- Responsible for Release Management and works with the Product Owners and Development team to plan and execute release schedules.
- Works with stakeholders to create high-level preliminary release and project delivery plans for production features.
- Reports on overall support status to leadership and various stakeholders
- Ensures effective communication, collaboration, and team engagement in initiatives that cut across products and applications.
- Leads program increment retrospectives to identify productivity improvement opportunities
- Maintains support and defect reporting that identifies problems areas where focused improvements are required
- This is a full-time management/leadership position (45+ hours per week)
- Will manage small enhancement development
- Regular and reliable workplace attendance at your assigned location.
Experience, Skills, Education & Licenses/Certifications Required:
- 3-5+ years experience in supporting Warehouse Management Systems & Supply Chain Application.
- 3-5+ years experience in working with various Database Oracle, SQL server, My SQL
- 3-5+ years experience in working with Java based micro services applications..
- 5+ years experience working with global teams.
- Experience working with packaged vendor solutions. Maintain and build vendor relationships
- Ability to supervise a team, guide them on technical aspects and help them prioritize rollouts.
- 2+ years experience working patching team and familiar with Patching of servers.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with individuals at all levels
- Experience with cloud service is plus (AWS/Azure) and working with applications in Windows and Linux/Unix Environments.
- Able to create and maintain reports related to support activities for management.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills\
- Must be detail oriented and thorough, with ability to think “big picture” and understand the key trends and goals that drive Costco’s eCommerce business.
- Deep understanding of business analysis and its value to project execution and business growth.
- Proven ability to make sound decisions in an environment with frequent change.
- Innovative, creative, and possesses a passion for excellence.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills, with experience building strategic and tactical plans
- Able to support off-hours work as required; including evenings, weekends, holidays.
- Experience with Highjump and/or Descartes packaged solutions is a plus.
