Description: 

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Analyst with strong data analysis skills to join our Data Science team. The successful candidate will play a key role in understanding business needs, identifying areas for improvement, and using data-driven insights to propose and deliver solutions. Through phases of the project the role will shift from requirements gathering, process mapping and documentation to data analysis and modeling to delivering data driven solutions.

Responsibilities: 
Business Analysis: Understand, analyze, and document business processes and workflows. Identify areas for improvement and propose innovative solutions

Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, interpret, and visualize complex datasets. Use statistical tools to identify and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.

Reporting: Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and metrics to monitor the performance of business operations

Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, including management, technical teams, and end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction

Project Management: Assist in project planning and management. Monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure that project goals are achieved on time and within budget

Key Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

2+ years experience as a Business Analyst or similar role

Cloud computing experience, preference is GCP, specifically BigQuery

Strong data analysis skills and proficiency in SQL, Python, Excel, and data visualization tools (such as Tableau or Power BI)

Strong understanding of statistical analysis and predictive modeling

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
