Jr. Data Center Technician

Job Description:

Previous experience as a data center technician
Basic IT knowledge
Must be flexible with hours. Generally, 9 – 5, but…
1) Has to be flexible with normal routine, but will have to be flexible. 40 hours will be fixed but flexibility to be available during off hours and Sundays is a must. We will work out day off during any weekdays to make up those extra hours or days worked. Once build stage is complete things will stabilize and we will have better picture with hours.

Previous cabling experience (Copper/Coax/Fiber)
Impeccable customer services skills
Experience in troubleshooting facility and customer issues
Able to handle multiple tasks and manage priorities while maintaining the ability to distinguish minimal impact from high impact problems with little direction
Must have a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Pluses:
Any certifications would be considered a plus!
General knowledge of TCP/IP required, and a detailed base of technical knowledge of PC hardware, operating systems, networks and communications protocols
