Job Descripiton:

We are looking for talented and creative Software Engineer. The candidate should have experience in SQL Queries, ETL, and knowledge in Java, Spark and willingness to learn new technologies as needed. The ideal candidate should have the ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment. The ideal candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability and knowhow to collaborate effectively with domain experts and IT leadership team.

Skills/Experience Requirement:

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in Software Engineer roles.
  • Hands-on experience writing & analysing SQL Queries,
  • Knowledge in ETL technologies, Java, Spark
  • Knowledge in developing REST API tests with Java Frameworks (good to have)
  • Knowledge in CI/CD using Jenkins/Go CD (good to have)
  • Knowledge with Agile Software Development methodology, STLC and SDLC
  • Good Team Player and involved in Team Training Activities
  • Good Communication and Writing Skills.
  • Willingness and ability to learn new technologies
  • Fast learner

Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of a cross-functional agile development team in all phases of development and production support - Analyzes and determines integration needs.
  • Programs new software, web applications and supports new applications under development and the customization of current applications.
  • Edits and reviews technical requirements documentation.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Collaborate with other development and engineering teams
  • Follows approved life cycle methodologies, creates design documents, and performs program coding, testing and documentation of solutions.
  • Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation.
  • Perform improvement activities, code review, code optimization and query tuning.
  • Ensures that expected application performance levels are achieved.
