Junior System Engineer

Position description: 

Experience: 1 - 3 years. Position responsibilities include an active role in system level design, requirements, customer support, and test support for a variety of system engineering projects

In this position the Systems Engineer makes changes to or upgrades existing systems designs, enhances and improves existing technologies to apply to new solutions, performs root cause analysis to identify system design issues and provides recommendations and implements solutions to complex problems

Specific knowledge/skills include system level knowledge of video technologies and standards including MPEG, Open Cable, etc

Networking technologies include TCP/IP and Ethernet

System engineering and requirements management tools and techniques

Strong writing, presentation and other communication skills
