Strong communication skills are extremely important for success in this position. 

Our client in Philadelphia, PA is looking for a Tech Lead to support their busy team. This is a remote, contract to hire role supporting a well-known organization. Local candidates with ability to come on-site is required for team meetings every 4-6 weeks. 

Position Description:
•  Responsible for leading team to creating deliverables of project-based work within Java/J2EE.
• This will be mostly a front end role with needing to write some queries of SQL and Oracle databases.
•  Work directly with clients and users to identify the full scope of requirements.
•  Work within an Agile environment and understand User Stories.
•   Communicate technical solutions to PMs and development team.
•    Work with subject matter in diverse environments to identify relevant standards, policies, and practices.
•    Utilize working knowledge of operational issues and considerations to can site examples of usage in different environments.
•   Gain technical expertise and make recommendations for solutions.
•     Responsible for effectively communicating across technical teams and to business leaders on project updates. presentations, deliverables etc.

Required Skills:
6+ years of senior experience within the full development life cycle, architecture though deployment and testing. 
Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate, direct and make contradictions in a professional manner based on learned best practices.
Cross platform skills.
Technical proficiency within Angular, API, Spring Boot and SQL



Bonus Skills:
·         Experience with database design and modeling is desired. Security, Cloud experience a plus.
Experience with microserves highly preferred
ETL highly preferred
Heathcare experience a plus


General Comments
Must be full stack but if more front or back end - Angular heavy is preferred
a 20 person team, this is a technical lead more than a people leader


Meetings they are responsible to be on site for are called cradle meetings

Building a whole new members portal from scratch
Somewhere that you can go and get your insurance details, claims, benefits, etc.
Must be strong in development and architecture
Will grow into people leadership; does not need management experience
