Lead Full Stack Developer

We are seeking a highly responsible, self-Motivated Lead Full Stack Developer with a passion for technology innovation, people leadership, and a drive to create exceptional ecommerce experiences. This key role will involve spending around 60% of the time in hands-on engineering and 40% in leadership, although this will fluctuate based on project requirements.

You will need to have extensive experience in ecommerce and/or marketplace industries. We highly value those who have experience with Shopify, although this is not a hard requirement. You must also have prior experience leading, mentoring, or managing software engineers.

Responsibilities:
Lead a team of software engineers to deliver high quality, efficient, and robust software products.
Take an active role in hands-on engineering tasks.
Drive innovation within the team and stay updated about industry trends and developments.
Collaboratively design and develop new features and improvements.
Ensure high standards of code quality and performance.
Effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

Requirements:
Proven industry experience in full stack development, with a specific focus on front-end development.
Expertise in working with React, React Native, and TypeScript.
Familiarity with Node.js, Go and GoLang is desirable.
Demonstrable experience in leading, managing, or mentoring software development teams.
At least 2-3 years tenure in your most recent role and at the same company.
Internal promotion during your career is strongly desired.
Experience working with well-known brands is preferred.
