Lead System Engineer

Job Description.

Responsiblities:

1.       Coordinate the modeling and analysis of complex System of Systems to define system level requirements.

2.       Help to define architecture in coordination with System Architects for design for deploy ability/reliability/performance/supportability/testability with Product Marketing and Development

3.       Be the voice of Systems Engineering team in different projects, as well as with management and global Systems Engineering organization

4.       Customizes and propagates the overall system engineering strategy for the organization

5.       Maintain system engineering backlog

6.       Advise the development and test project leads and experts on the overall system engineering strategy

7.       V-model experience, left side of model (Requirements analysis, tools such as Cameo/SysML, functional analysis, component analysis, function vs non-function requirements)

8.       SW – FMEA experience/understanding

9.       SW based networked system, integrating into hospital IT systems, SW systems talking to each other, administration is a plus but not required.

10.   Medical device SW experience is good

Skills Required:

1.       Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (Masters degree preferred) in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Systems, or relevant equivalent technical experience

2.       5+ years of experience in systems architecture / systems engineering

3.       Very strong analytical skills, proven ability to understand dependencies within a complex system & break it down in smaller tasks & plan

4.       Strong communication skills and experience in creating alignment between broad varieties of stakeholders (internal and external).

5.       Strong influential leadership skills

6.       Affinity to medical device standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., IEC 62304)

7.       In-depth knowledge of SW development (including enterprise level SW)

8.       Experience with Medical Device Software product development

9.       Experience in the fields of Cloud computing / networking / security (e.g., CISSP, CISA)

10.   Experience in systems modelling and model-based systems engineering is a plus

11.   Strong technical skills in IT/Network Engineering is a plus
