Lead Test Engineer - Web and Mobile Applications

Role Description:

1. End to tend testing of Web and Mobile app

2. Creating test cases and execution

3. Reporting the results

4As Test Engineer, should be good in analysing the requirements from user stories in preparing Test Scenarios,Test Design, Test Cases, & Test Metrics for the requirements, which meets the customer expectations.

Should be responsible in defining the scope of testing within the context of each release / delivery.

Should be responsible for final QA signoff of test activity prior to production implementation.

Should work closely with business to clarify test requirements during test planning, design and execution.

Should be capable of understanding client business process operations and business objectives and utilize the knowledge to deliver high quality, which meets the customer expectations.

Strong knowledge and understanding of aspects of SDLC/STLC practices change report, test process coverage report, defect overview report etc.

End to end ownership for testing and signoff, communication with development team (build team), onsite, offshore teams (both TCS, client and other vendors.

Should be responsible for running test validations, identifying Regression Test Suites for Automation testing and estimating project resource

Should have a good experience in working closely with business stakeholders (Product owners, Product Managers) to identify areas which could potentially produces good quality product in the competitive market. ?

You actively participate in Agile & Scrum ceremonies.

Competencies: Digital : Application Programming Interface (API), Functional Testing, Digital / Assurance : Mobile Application Testing

Essential Skills:

Functional tester with total experience of 8-10 years that includes Web and Mobile app testing.

Understand the testing effort by analysing the requirements of project.

Develop test cases and prioritize testing activities.

Excellent knowledge on Testing methodologies like Smoke Test, Functional, System Integration and Regression Testing etc .

Document, implement, monitor, and enforce all processes for testing as per standards defined by the organization

Good Knowledge of Automation Tools like Katalon Studio , Cypress etc

Experience in Test Management Tools like Quality Centre, X-Ray, Octane, JIRA.

Ensuring visibility, traceability, and control of testing process to deliver high-quality software.

Coordination of all testing activities during every stage of the test process, as well as coordination with senior executives on testing projects.

Understand the existing test process, identify gaps and suggest improvements.

Knowledge on Mobile Testing & API Testing

Ensuring delivery & implementation of projects as scheduled and ensuring compliance to quality standards.

Fluent in English (C1+) is a must.

Result oriented & team player mindset.

Experience in the railway sector is a plus.
