Job Description:
We are looking for a LogicMonitor Administrator to join our IT team and manage our cloud-based monitoring platform. You will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting LogicMonitor to ensure optimal performance and availability of our IT infrastructure and applications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Position Responsibilities
Administer LogicMonitor platform, including adding and removing devices, creating dashboards and reports, setting up alerts and escalations, and applying best practices.
Monitor and analyze system and application performance, availability, and capacity using LogicMonitor and other tools.
Identify and resolve issues related to LogicMonitor configuration, connectivity, and functionality.
Provide technical support and guidance to end users and other IT staff on LogicMonitor usage and features.
Document LogicMonitor processes, procedures, and configurations.
Collaborate with other IT teams and vendors to ensure alignment and integration of LogicMonitor with other systems and tools.
Keep up to date with LogicMonitor updates, enhancements, and best practices.
Design and configure the LogicMonitor tool to monitor IT infrastructure and applications based on stakeholder requirements.
Develop, customize and optimize monitoring templates and dashboards to visualize data and identify trends.
Design and develop custom alerts and notification mechanisms to notify the appropriate stakeholders of issues.
Provide training to end-users on the effective use of the LogicMonitor tool.
Ensure the tool is customized to provide value and eliminate noise from alerts by establishing maintenance windows, deduplication of alerts.
Provide Operational support and maintenance of the LogicMonitor tool.
Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate the LogicMonitor tool with other systems and processes.
Stay up-to-date with the latest LogicMonitor tool and best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5-7 years of experience in LogicMonitor tool implementation and administration.
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and application monitoring principles and best practices.
Experience with other monitoring tools such as Splunk, Nagios, SolarWinds if preferable but not mandatory.
Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python is preferable.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Degree in related field and/or 5+ year experience in a networking engineering role.
