Background:

The team is responsible for supplier logistics readiness setup. They play a large role in the logistics implementation of new car programs. It covers both new suppliers and flows in car projects, as well as supplier relocations. They are now looking for a consultant to strengthen the efforts to launch the upcoming car projects in a quality assured way.

Your key tasks:

As Logistics Engineer in the team, you will work closely with the suppliers and several different functions within Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Supplier Performance Management and Manufacturing. You will monitor and secure supplier on-boarding activities, which includes communication flow (EDI) and transport routes between suppliers and the production units. You will also ensure suppliers awareness of global logistics requirements and readiness and validation for delivery to all customer plants globally.

You and your skills:

To be successful, you need to have experiences from logistics. You need to have an understanding for business needs, supply chain processes, EDI, material handling, packaging and you have a relevant academic degree, preferable within the logistics area.

International experience within the logistics field and experience between supplier and productions plants.

The right candidate is a problem solver with a can-do mentality and have good analytical skills. You to have good knowledge of EDI communication, Excel, Power BI and SharePoint.

Communication and interpersonal skills, in line with core competencies: drives results, builds trust, collaborates and self-development are key in this role. You are fluent in English (written and verbal) and Swedish. You have driver license B.
