Job Description:

 

  • Proficiency in COBOL programming language.
  • Strong understanding of CICS (Customer Information Control System) for transaction processing.
  • Experience with JCL (Job Control Language) for batch processing and job scheduling.
  • Knowledge of DB2 database management system.
  • Familiarity with mainframe operating systems such as z/OS.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Provide technical support for mainframe systems, including troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as system upgrades, patches, and installations.
  • Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate mainframe systems with other enterprise applications.
  • Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Participate in on-call rotation to provide after-hours support as needed.
