Job Description:
- Proficiency in COBOL programming language.
- Strong understanding of CICS (Customer Information Control System) for transaction processing.
- Experience with JCL (Job Control Language) for batch processing and job scheduling.
- Knowledge of DB2 database management system.
- Familiarity with mainframe operating systems such as z/OS.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Provide technical support for mainframe systems, including troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as system upgrades, patches, and installations.
- Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate mainframe systems with other enterprise applications.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide after-hours support as needed.
