Majesco Billing Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Majesco Billing Developer (Technical Lead) to join our dynamic team. This role will focus on the development, implementation, and maintenance of Majesco Billing solutions for our commercial and specialty lines of business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Majesco's billing systems, with a deep understanding of insurance industry standards and practices, especially in commercial and specialty lines. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions that meet our business needs.

Technical Skills:

Majesco Billing Expertise:

• Advanced knowledge of Majesco Billing system configuration and customization to support commercial and specialty insurance lines.
• Experience with Majesco Billing version upgrades, data migration, and system integrations.
• Proficiency in utilizing Majesco’s out-of-the-box features and customizing them to fit specific business needs.

Programming/Scripting Languages:

• Strong proficiency in Java, with a focus on developing and customizing insurance applications.
• Experience with SQL for database management, querying, and optimization.
• Knowledge of other relevant programming languages and technologies used in conjunction with Majesco solutions, such as JavaScript for front-end customizations and XML for data interchange.

Integration and APIs:

• Experience in integrating Majesco Billing with external systems using web services (SOAP, REST) and API management.
• Familiarity with enterprise service bus (ESB) technology for facilitating communication between disparate systems.

Development Methodologies:

• Solid understanding of Agile software development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, to drive efficient project delivery.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, to streamline development and deployment processes.

Database Management:

• Proficiency in database technologies, especially relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server), and an understanding of database design and normalization.
• Experience with data migration tools and techniques, particularly for large-scale data transfers and system upgrades.
