Prime Video is seeking an exceptional Social Media Sports and Creative Campaign Lead to build our publishing strategy to promote our live sports transmission, and drive best-in-class customer experience and engagement for our creative campaigns. We are seeking a senior, experienced and creative social strategist with a genuine passion for Sports, movies and series.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record delivering results on social media, with the ability to develop strategy from scratch, sell big ideas internally and externally, multi-task and prioritize, manage a high-volume of social content while keeping a long term goal of building one solid brand positioning. The successful candidate needs to be nimble and creative, with a drive for testing, learning and making insight- and data-driven decisions.
The Social Media Sports and Creative Campaign Lead will lead always-on social efforts that impact Canada customers, owning the strategy end-to-end for Canada social sports accounts and the creative campaigns for our series and movies. You will work across internal teams including other global and regional social leads, brand, creative, synergy, events and PR, as well as partner with external social media and influencer agencies.
You will own all social content decisions for the properties you own, driving both long-term strategy, pre-planned campaigns and day-to-day editorial decisions. You will manage multiple social channels and influencers simultaneously, with the ability to streamline for efficiency, while crafting thoughtful strategies to best-serve unique audiences. You will work with key social media and digital platforms such as TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, X and YouTube, as well as seek out emerging platforms that can help us grow our customer base and brand. You will also contribute to the development of new product features and tools for social marketing.
Success in this role requires excellent customer instincts, an ability to define social strategy from scratch, excellent project management skills, an aptitude for developing insights-driven global strategies, defining customer-centric campaign goals, a keen eye for compelling and innovative content, a passion for continuous improvement. You will need to think strategically, but stay on top of tactical execution. You will need to possess an entrepreneurial ability to try new and different things with minimal direction. Overall, you will be challenged to push boundaries, propose and execute new ideas and establish best practices for Prime Video Sports social channels and entertainment campaigns. Key job responsibilities
Lead, develop and launch social strategies for Prime Video to grow our sports social accounts in Canada, and build loyal online communities
Oversee creative ideation and development to deliver innovative, best-in-class always-on social content for customers to drive new and existing fans to tune into sports events in Prime Video
Work closely and collaboratively across brand, creative, paid social, PR and synergy teams to champion social-first ideas and execute global integrated activations, influencers plans, events and strategies to promote our movies and series campaigns
Foster social conversation and leverage to build vibrant communities though real time and reactive strategies
Own paid media strategy for editorial boosting
Manage social media agencies and oversee campaign planning and management
Manage influencers, players and talents to deliver high-engaging content on and off-handles
Partner with social platforms to identify new opportunities and develop innovative activations
Develop and own goals and performance metrics for social accounts; monitor regularly to understand effectiveness of strategy and creative, making recommendations for continuous improvement
Present to senior leadership regularly on campaign plans and results
Continuously ideate and innovate within the social space
Basic Qualifications
10+ years of relevant experience in social marketing, including creative development
Experience generating and executing large-scale social media campaigns across digital platforms with a track record of growing audiences and delivering on engagement metrics
Experience collaborating with internal stakeholders and external agencies/partners/talent
Experience working with social and digital agencies Creative editorial experience, ideally within social media
Preferred Qualifications
Analytic and quantitative skills - ability to use data to develop and measure marketing programs
Proven ability to influence and communicate effectively with senior executives
Experience launching and/or directly managing sports social accounts with over 1MM social followers
