What To Expect
As a Mechanical Construction Project Manager, you will be playing a critical role in leading an internal self-perform group of pipefitters to construct the SEMI production facility. You will be managing an internal client’s Construction team and will be asked to work cross-functionally, interfacing with base build, construction engineering, and manufacturing engineering while tracking a project's schedule and budget.
What You'll Do
- Lead a team consisting of Project Coordinators, Buyers, Superintendents, and craft.
- Promote a safe and quality driven culture, both project and companywide.
- Conduct constructability review of design packages.
- Employ a can-do attitude, ensuring all stakeholders are engaged and aligned to the project’s goals.
- Identify project risks and opportunities and actively manage through-out the project life cycle.
- Ensure Quality Assurance and Quality Control requirements are achieved.
- Interface with engineering team, manufacturing teams, procurement, and commissioning teams.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
- At least 10 years of experience in the mechanical field and 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager.
- Previous experience on $25M+ project.
- Ability to provide material take offs and estimates from construction drawings.
- Ability to read, interpret, and manage changes to Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams)).
- Proficiency in Construction baseline development, change control, cost/schedule performance and variance analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication & presentation skills.
