Mechanical Drafter

Position Overview: As a Mechanical Drafter, you will play a critical role in the development of drawings, plans, and other technical documents that are essential for the successful execution of our projects. You will work closely with our engineering and design teams to create accurate and detailed drawings, layouts, engineering drawings, and fabrication prints, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and precision.

Key Responsibilities

 

• Create and revise detailed 2D and 3D drawings, layouts, and engineering drawings using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) based on project requirements.
• Prepare detailed fabrication prints and documentation, including bills of materials (BOMs), assembly instructions, and technical specifications.
• Verify the accuracy and completeness of drawings and documents, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company guidelines.
• Work closely with engineers, designers, and other cross-functional teams to review and update drawings as needed to support the project's progress.
• Identify and resolve design and drawing discrepancies or issues to maintain project timelines and quality standards.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends, tools, and techniques related to mechanical detailing and CAD software to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, providing updates on progress and addressing any technical queries or concerns.
  
   

Qualifications:

 

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Drafter/Detailer or similar role in a mechanical engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Experince with sheet metal and weldments strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) and other relevant technical tools.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in drafting and documentation.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
