MERN Stack Developer

Education and Experience »
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
5+ years of recent professional development experience (not freelance/hobby experience).
Experience with Agile development methodologies.
Experience building web applications that interface with enterprise backend systems via REST API's.
Proven experience working with the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js).
Strong knowledge of ReactJS, TypeScript or JavaScript, Node.js, MongoDB, and AWS services.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities »
Solid understanding of fundamental programming concepts and JavaScript concepts.
Solid understanding of AWS services such as writing Lambda functions, S3, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and EC2.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality code.
Eagerness to experiment with new technologies and innovative ways to solve problems.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Job Responsibilities:
Write Lambda functions to enhance application functionality and improve scalability.
Design and develop high-quality, well-tested code for web applications using the MERN stack, AWS services, and Lambda Functions.
Collaborate with the development team to ensure the development of features in the product are in line with the overall roadmap and vision.
Experiment with new technologies and innovative ways to solve problems.
Interface with enterprise backend systems via REST API's.
Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability.
