Must Haves:

  • US Citizen
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years of experience with IT project management
  • SAFe methodology
  • Knowledge of coding (from a PM perspective)
  • Government experience preferred
  • PMP preferred


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex IT projects.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, resources, and IT teams effectively.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, including IT staff, business teams, and external partners.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks specific to IT projects.
  • Ensure IT projects meet quality standards and align with business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in managing IT projects.
  • Must have experience with SAFe methodology.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT project management principles and methodologies.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and technical project management skills.
  • Experience in dealing with budgets, developing schedules, work plans and scopes, and managing contracts.
  • Comfortable leading a team of 5-10 people
  • An understanding of coding
  • Proficiency in project management software and familiarity with IT infrastructure and software development.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and technical skills.
  • Strong writing skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in parallel
  • Proficient in Office 365
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Nice to Have:

  • PMP or equivalent project management certification with an IT focus.
  • Government experience
  • A background in design- in regard to creating a story book for clients
  • Experience in leading IT development and implementation projects.
  • Advanced knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Working knowledge of the Internal Audit process, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 20000-1:2018, and CMMI v2.0
