MIS Business Analyst

100% Remote

Long-term Contract

Roles and Responsibilities:

a. Review vendor deliverables and provide comments and recommendations to approve or request changes.

b. Participate in requirements validation, system configuration and design sessions.

c. Assist with the review of test cases and test data to facilitate testing in all project phases.

d. Assist with process redesign and documentation as needed in support of the design sessions.

e. Assist with functional testing.

f. Other project duties as assigned and as needed by the Office of Licensing and Accreditation.

Required Experience and Skills:

a. Have at least 5 years of experience working as a business analyst in large and complex environments with a strong preference for experience within state government and social services.

b. Previous experience with provider management solutions and the business functions associated with licensing and accrediting providers.

c. Strong understanding of project management lifecycles and experience working within hybrid agile environments.

d. Ability to maintain working relationships with implementation vendor, State business and technical teams, and other project participants.
