Mobile Architect

Key Responsibilities:

Architecture Design: Define and design the overall architecture of mobile applications, ensuring they meet business requirements, security standards, and are scalable and accessible.
Development Leadership: Lead the development team in building applications using ReactNative
Accessibility Standards: Ensure that all mobile applications comply with ADA guidelines and accessibility standards, incorporating features like screen reader support, colour contrast, and alternative input methods.
Code Review: Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to best practices, including accessibility best practices.
Collaboration: Work with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications that prioritize accessibility.
Mentorship: Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement, with a focus on accessibility.
Technology Evaluation: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and accessibility standards, and evaluate their potential integration into projects.
Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for architecture, design, development processes, and accessibility compliance.
Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to mobile development, with an emphasis on accessibility challenges.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in mobile development with a strong focus on ReactNative. 4 years only for architect.
Technical Proficiency:
Expertise in ReactNative development
Proficient in mobile architecture patterns, design principles, and best practices.
Experience with Java, Objective-C type of applications.
Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and accessibility standards.
Familiarity with mobile app performance optimization techniques.
Knowledge of mobile security best practices and data privacy regulations.
Accessibility Skills:
Knowledge of ADA compliance and accessibility guidelines (WCAG).
Experience implementing accessibility features in mobile applications.
Tools and Frameworks:
Proficiency with Xcode and Android Studio.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications.
Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Leadership and mentorship capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications:
