Mobile Device Test Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Perform 4G/5G device Lab and on-site testing multiple iterations, various services validation and function validation as well as stress testing;
2. Generating environment required for reproducing problem/bug/issue
3. Perform and analyze issues reproduction/troubleshooting and provide preliminary issue analysis, fix verification;
4. Document the test report and issue report;
5. Write the details of test procedure for test plan based on test plan template and the provided testing scenarios/testing requirements;
6. Other device testing development work as required.

Skills set required:
1. 5-8 years of working experience on mobile device testing and logging analysis, including VoLTE/VoWiFi, public alerting;
2. Experience developing detailed test cases and test plans with guidelines;
3. Good knowledge about 5G/LTE/UMTS device/RAN technology, RRC/NAS call flows, SIP, IMS, IPsec, IMAP, IP/TCP/UDP/HTTP, EAP-AKA;
4. Possesses strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
5. Established proactive work ethics and manner, desire to meet and exceed the expectations, and curiosity for understanding the technical concept of issue being troubleshooting.
