Description:
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design and deploy company LANs, WANs, and wireless networks, including servers, routers, Aps, hubs, switches, UPSs, and other hardware.
- Configure, manage, and maintain essential network hardware and software.
- Monitor network performance to determine if adjustments need to be made.
- Confer with network users about solving existing system problems.
- Operate master consoles to monitor the performance of networks and computer systems.
- Coordinate with vendors and with company personnel to facilitate purchases.
- Develop and document network troubleshooting procedures and policies.
- Implement and manage security solutions for the network.
- Train team members on new hardware or software integrations.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Certifications such as CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) or equivalent.
- Proven experience and success with LAN, WAN, WLAN, and WWAN design and implementation.
- Experience with network capacity planning, network security principles, and general network management best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions quickly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
