3	Required	Ability to create formal documentation for systems administration, operations, and maintenance
2	Required	Experience with network monitoring products
2	Required	Experience with Linux or Windows System Administration
1	Required	Network experience, understanding WAN/LAN technologies with network monitoring
1	Required	Experience performing network monitoring in a virtual environment
1	Required	Experience troubleshooting VMWare issues in a large environment
1	Required	Knowledge of a scripting language (e.g., bash, perl, python) and experience with creating scripts to automate processes
1	Required	Ability to build custom dashboards and reports
1	Required	Experience with SNMPv3 network management tools, security management tools, traffic analysis tools, including NetFlow and NetFlow collectors
1	Required	Experience running discoveries of network devices on the network and building a logical topology
2	Preferred	Texas State Agency network administrator experience
1	Preferred	Network certifications
