Network Engineer

JOB DUTIES:

Design, implementation, and support of LAN/WAN, VLAN, VPN networks; Design cable and wireless networks, structured network cabling and configuration of LAN, WAN and wireless networks with active components such as routers, switches, firewalls, modems, access points, repeaters etc. break / fix engineering; Configure CISCO based routing and switching e.g. VLAN implementation and wireless connectivity; Work on F5 and CSM load balancers; Server Administration, Network Protocols such as TCP/IP, Ethernet, token ring, routers, switches, hubs, network cabling, firewall, network security, DHCP, DNS, troubleshooting network connectivity, Routing and Remote Access configuration, VPN configuration, Remote Desktop, LAN/WAN management, VoIP. Travel And/ Or Relocation to unanticipated client sites is required.

EDUCATION REQUIRED:

Master’s Degree in Computer Science/ Technology/ Engineering (Any)/ Business /IT or related field with Six (6) months of experience in the job offered or as an IT Consultant/ IT Analyst/ Developer/ Programmer/ IT Engineer or closely related fields. Employer also accepts A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/ Technology/ Engineering (Any)/ Business /IT or related field plus 5 years of progressive work experience in related field.

EXPRERIENCE REQUIRED:

Experience Should Include 6 (Six) Months of working with Linux, Unix, Macintosh OSX and Cisco IOS. Travel and/or relocation to unanticipated client sites throughout USA is required.
