Job Description:
10-15 years of Experience in Networking, Security, Design implementation and Operational support. Experience on support and implementation of Routing, Switching, Security and Wireless.
Devise, plan, deploy, and optimize wireless networks from the beginning to implementation by collaborating with different teams and vendors.
Use tools to evaluate, test and tweak wireless products, such as routers, switches, wireless controllers, prime infrastructure, wireless monitoring systems, among others.
Installing, configuring, and customizing Cisco DNA Center, CMX and Prime Infrastructure.
Leading and perform wireless site survey with vendor engineers and generate survey report including AP layouts.
Optimize wireless network coverage and performance in wireless client high density area by reviewing current wireless system configurations.
Work with security team to evaluate threats, troubleshoot issues, and comply with appropriate security configuration standards of their organizations.
Design and deploy changes to the configurations of existing wireless devices as per the applicable change management process.
Write manuals and document current network procedures.
Extensive experience in configuring and customizing Cisco DNA Center Software, Cisco Connected Mobile Experience, Prime Infrastructure.
Strong experience utilizing wireless site survey toolset and generating reports.
Deep knowledge and experience with wireless client high density design, implementation, troubleshooting and optimization.
Deep knowledge and experience in wireless security authentication and encryption protocols including Cisco Client.
Knowledge of Cisco IOS configuration and troubleshooting across multiple platforms.
In-depth understanding on core CCNA & CCNP (Routing and Switching protocols) , Check point firewall, ASA
In-depth understanding on protocols RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, VTP, SPT, HSRP.
Experience on support and implementation of Routing, Switching, Security and Wireless. Should be able to communicate with Stake Holders and Service providers.
To work with partners to ensure that their networks are configured and maintained to support the levels of availability required.
Ability to identify critical IT issues and propose viable solutions.
Upgrading customer data network equipment to the latest stable firmware releases.
To do the configuration of routing and switching equipment.
To do the configuration of Network Management and Authentication Systems.
To do the configuration of wireless systems and location-based services.
To collect the required vendor/customer qualifications.
To do remote support for on-site engineers and customer's equipment during installation or hardware support.
To do remote troubleshooting and fault finding if issues occur upon initial installation.
