Onboard Business Analyst

Experience required: 5-12 years.

Our Digital Service Line is currently looking for industry-leading seasoned "Onboard Business Analyst" professionals with hands-on experience.

The shortlisted candidate should have the ability to analyse technical needs and work with the customers to develop project scope of work documents and Project Plans.

The responsibilities are primarily technical, although there is a strong element of functional understanding of the business process.

Responsibilities:

•  Work closely with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for software development projects.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows.
• Utilize interviewing techniques to extract and define clear and concise requirements from stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure that requirements are understood and implemented as intended.
• Create and maintain visual representations of requirements such as flow charts, diagrams, and wireframes.
• Conduct thorough analysis to identify potential gaps or inconsistencies in requirements and propose effective solutions.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the development team, ensuring clear communication and understanding of requirements.
• Assist in the testing and validation of developed solutions against defined requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in software development projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in creating visual representations of requirements using tools such as flow charts, UML diagrams, and wireframing software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• In-depth knowledge of software engineering techniques and methodologies.
• Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall software development methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) is a plus.
