About the job

  • 5+ years of experience in Oracle DBA and Shell Scripting.
  • Experience in IT automation engine that automates cloud provisioning, configuration management, application deployment, intra-service orchestration and many other IT needs.
  • Automation of business processes and software deployment/ configuration through a variety of frameworks, development languages and tools (python/ javascript /bash, etc).
  • Testing new application versions, application content & application add-ons in a lab environment before allowing to use in production.
  • Design and implement custom scripts, test and validate the custom scripts provision and implement configuration changes.
  • Troubleshoot process execution problems and work with other team members to fix and validate.
  • Maintain and adjust existing automated solutions.
  • Understand requirements for new automation tasks, i.e. anticipate potential points of failure, database communication points, file system errors, etc.
  • Use Linux Commands to Log Analysis/ Job failure RCA and Perf checks of server including space, CPU utilization, Process check, etc.
  • Working Experience in Unix/ Linux commands.
  • Working Experience in Unix/ Linux Shell Scripting.
