Job Description
The Oracle FAH Cloud Accounting Hub Lead will play a critical role in leading the implementation, customization, and management of Oracle Financial Accounting Hub Cloud (FAH) for enterprise-level clients. This position requires deep technical and functional expertise in Oracle FAH to enable the seamless integration of disparate financial systems into a single reporting environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of Oracle FAH Cloud (Financial Accounting Hub) solutions to support accounting transformations and the centralization of financial reporting
Manage end-to-end project delivery, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, data migration, testing, and post-go-live support
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand accounting, reconciliation, and reporting needs, translating them into Oracle FAH solutions
Develop and customize accounting rules and logic to ensure financial transactions are processed correctly, according to the organization's accounting policies
Provide technical leadership in the integration of Oracle FAH with external financial systems and ERPs, ensuring the accurate transfer of data for accounting entries
Oversee the development of financial and management reports using Oracle tools, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations
Provide expert advice and guidance on best practices for configuring Oracle FAH to meet complex business and reporting requirements
Lead data migration efforts, ensuring accurate mapping of financial data from legacy systems into Oracle FAH
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to financial accounting, reconciliations, and reporting in Oracle FAH
Ensure timely and successful project delivery while adhering to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards
Provide leadership and mentorship to junior consultants and technical teams, ensuring knowledge transfer and capacity building within the team
Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Finance, IT, and external vendors to ensure seamless project execution
Required Skills
5+ years of experience in Oracle Financial Accounting Hub (FAH) with strong hands-on experience in cloud implementations
Proven experience in leading and managing Oracle FAH Cloud implementations, including accounting rules configuration and system integration
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes
Experience in developing and customizing accounting rules to process multi-system financial transactions into a unified reporting system
Expertise in Oracle ERP Cloud, Oracle EBS Financials, or other financial systems that integrate with FAH
Solid experience in data migration processes, ensuring accurate and seamless transfer of financial data from legacy systems into Oracle FAH
Proficient in Oracle FAH reporting tools, including OTBI, BI Publisher, and Oracle Smart View
Knowledge of integration frameworks for connecting Oracle FAH with other systems using APIs or middleware solutions
Experience in project management and the ability to lead teams through complex accounting transformation initiatives
Excellent communication skills for engaging with business stakeholders and translating accounting needs into technical solutions
