Job Details :

 

  • Develop and improve procedures and instructions to minimize packing line setup and changeover time/ cost
  • Works in compliance with GMP work practices, ISO3485, ISTA Standards
  • Minimize packaging material scrap, product scrap and product give away
  • Work with Packaging operations and suppliers to troubleshoot packaging issues, maintain packaging quality, and optimize packing line efficiencies
  • Ensures safety aspects of the equipment meets specifications and requirements to assure employees’ safe working conditions.
  • Participates in risk assessments and cost improvement initiatives;
  • Participates as the team member responsible for packaging on New Product Development projects and Packaging Development projects
  • Years of relevant experience relating to Packaging/ manufacturing engineering of industrial products and their components.
  • Detailed knowledge of packaging qualification testing ·
  • Experience designing packaging with variety of packaging materials
  • Demonstrates strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Concepts ·
  • Strong communication skills to relate to sales, customer service, quality, operations, and supply chain.
  • Effective use of problem solving and critical thinking to drive continuous improvement.
  • Proficient in MS Office and basic computer skills
  • Proficient with CAD NX/Pro-E Software
  • Experience with SAP / HANA ERP system is a plus.
  • Effective use of problem-solving skills.
