Complete Description:

Senior Oracle Database Administrator who will provide support for the client Oracle PeopleSoft Financials, Human Capital Management, and Oracle Business Intelligence areas of the Cardinal Program hosted on Exadata platform in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Responsibilities include installing, administering, upgrading and supporting databases, performance tuning, backup and recovery, and security management. Resource will be part of an on-call rotation is expected to provide off hours and weekend support when on call. During deployment exercises, shift work may be required during non-business hours.

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years Extensive experience supporting and managing multiple Oracle Databases on Linux in a complex environment.

• 5+ years of Experience serving as an Oracle DBA at comparably size organizations.

• Extensive experience authoring and supporting Linux shell scripts.

• Considerable experience with Oracle Security Architecture and Recovery including the use of Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN) and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM). Considerable experience troubleshooting complex Database Management System (DBMS) problems.

• Experience using Oracle Data Guard for Disaster Recovery or other purposes preferred.

• Experience working with multi-tenant container databases with one to many pluggable databases.

• Considerable experience creating performance tuning enhancements.

• Experience designing, modelling, and implementing large database systems. Experience authoring PL/SQL and Structured Query Language (SQL) commands and scripts.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting Oracle databases running on Exadata platforms.

• Experience supporting Oracle databases in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

• Experience supporting Oracle PeopleSoft HCM and/or Finance databases preferred.

• Strong communication skills.
