ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Works with Solution Architect on design.
Develops code as per the design.
Conducts peer design and code review (Unit Test)
Works with complex and business critical applications across functional areas
Apply knowledge from outside USF to improve USF development and reporting practices
Participates in the development/coding of applications, data bases, interface programs
Works with overall project manager to integrate development activities into overall project completion
QUALIFICATIONS:
BS Degree or equivalent work experience required.
5-7 Years of general IT experience
3-4 years work with Peoplesoft financial and reporting systems is required
SKILLS:
Clear understanding of how each component of primary financial systems impacts the others
Proven ability to see/develop enterprise process flows.
Proven ability to analyze and understand existing processes and code
Produce comprehensive, detailed, clear, concise technical specifications from functional requirements
Produce comprehensive test plans
Strong problem anticipation and trouble shooting capability
PROFICIENCY IN:
Oracle 10 or 11
Functional knowledge of Accounts Payabales/GL/AM/PC, PeopleTools 8.4x/8.5x, Crystal reports, Nvision, SQR, Application Engine, Application packages, Application Designer, Peoplecode, XML publisher, Integration Broker, Application messaging.
Unix Scripting Language, Unix - HP/Linux, SQL, PL/SQL, TOAD or similar tool SQL Query tool
PREFERRED SKILLS:
CTL-M or other automated scheduling package
Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project Travel
Bachelor’s Degree
