Description

PeopleSoft ERP Developer to update and migrate their current legacy system from a mainframe environment to a more updated and robust PS-based solution. Candidates should have experience developing bolt-on solutions for PS along with hands-on experience with PS Finance 9.2 and PeopleTools. Based on this role’s requirements, candidates must have at least 4 years of TX State PS experience to be considered.

 

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Assists in the design and development of PeopleSoft application based on business requirements.
  • Responsible for understanding requirements, designing, developing, testing, and implementing new and custom modules.
  • Worker(s) will augment TWC’s PeopleSoft technical and functional team.

 

Minimum Candidate Characteristics:

  • 4 – 7 years of People ERP system development experience
  • 4 years of experience with State of TX PS Finance System
    • Workforce Reporting, Accounting, and Procurement System (WRAPS) at the Texas Workforce Commission, or Centralized Accounting and Payroll/Personnel System (CAPPS) at the Comptroller of Public Accounts

 

Exceptional Candidate Characteristics:

  • Implementing/upgrading or maintaining a State of Texas PeopleSoft Finance system: Cash Draw & Expenditure Reporting (CDER) System

Scope/Description of Services

The Worker(s) will provide the following services:

 

TWC currently uses PeopleSoft FSCM v9.2 as its Financial system. TWC uses the following modules:  Asset Management, Billing, Contracts, ePro, GL, Inventory, Payables, Purchasing, Receivables, Strategic Sourcing, and Commitment Control.  TWC uses an Oracle database and AIX servers.

 

Performs other duties as assigned to maintain IT operations.
