PHP Developer

Job Description

Requirements:
• Availability to work 100% at the Client's site in West Palm Beach, FL (required);
• Software development experience (5+ years);
• UI/UX experience (3+ years);
• PHP experience including PHP version 8.x (5+ years);
• PHP CodeIgniter framework experience including version 4.x (3+ years);
• JavaScript experience (2+ years)
• YAML experience (2+ years);
• Twig experience (2+ years);
• Relational database experience (2+ years);
• Continuous integration tools such as Jenkins (2+ years);
• Agile team environment work experience;
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or IT related field



Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Work very closely with the District IT team members to upgrade PHP applications from CI3 to CI4;
• Make analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment;
• Make necessary changes to the code based on the comments provided by Client staff during code review and flagged by the deployment tools;
• Have excellent oral and written communication skills


Must-have skills: 5+ y of PHP exp including PHP version 8.x; 3+ y of PHP CodeIgniter framework exp including version 4.x; 3+ y o f UI/UX exp; 2+ y of JavaScript and YAML and Twig; 2+ y of relational database exp; 2+ y of continuous integration tools such as Jenkins; gov exp.
