Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Power BI Developer to join our team in Toronto. This role involves leveraging Power BI to deliver data-driven insights, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the seamless migration and integration of data across multiple channels.

Responsibilities:

Power BI Development:
Design, develop, and deploy Power BI dashboards and reports to meet business requirements.
Build scalable and interactive visualizations to support data-driven decision-making.
Data Migration and Integration:
Execute the migration of data from legacy systems to new environments while ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Collaborate with middleware teams to manage and optimize data pipelines.
Multi-Channel Data Expertise:
Work with data from diverse channels, ensuring seamless integration and analysis.
Identify opportunities for unifying data across platforms to provide comprehensive insights.
Collaboration and Coordination:
Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, middleware teams, and technical experts to gather and translate requirements into actionable solutions.
Ensure effective communication of project progress, challenges, and deliverables.
Performance Optimization:
Implement best practices for data modelling, DAX calculations, and report performance tuning.

Requirements / Qualifications:

Experience: 3-4 years of hands-on experience in Power BI development and data analytics.

Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in Power BI, including DAX and Power Query.
Experience with data migration, transformation, and cleansing.
Familiarity with middleware technologies and data pipelines.
Data Expertise: Understanding of multi-channel data sources and integration techniques.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases.
Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
Previous experience working in a hybrid model and collaborating with remote teams.
This role follows a hybrid model based in Toronto, requiring candidates to be available for both in-office and remote work as needed.
