Senior Software Engineer / full stack developer that has the capability to design, develop, test, support, and enhance applications that are leveraged by users in the San Joaquin Valley Upstream Business Unit. A mix of full stack development and low code technical capabilities (Power Platform) is a plus. The successful candidate will be responsible for
Functional Responsibilities:
• Working closely with a supportive co-located Scrum Team of Software and Application Engineers.
• Interacting directly with end users: engineers, operators, and earth scientists.
• Must be able and willing to mentor a small team of early career developers to promote good solution development practices and accelerate their competencies.
• Need to demonstrate a successful work history of engaging with end users to understand their business challenges and needs.
Required Skills:
• Experiences software engineer with a solid understanding of good software development practices.
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft’s Power Platform: Power Apps, Power BI, and Dataverse.
• History of strong performance in software development in a largely Microsoft environment (.NET, C#, SQL Server, Azure, Power Platform)
• Must be flexible with the ability to adapt to a changing landscape of technical frameworks, with a mix of legacy technologies, low-code platform solutions, and opportunities for innovation and modernization.
• Experience leading small development teams and engaging directly with customers to understand requirements and features.
• Recent experience with Agile ways of working (Scrum and Sprints)
• Experience in the Upstream business segment of the hydrocarbon industry
