Job Description:  

Take complete ownership of the software product, including both the technical and functional roadmap.  

Advocate a customer-centric approach, effectively representing the voice of the customer to guide technology and resource investments  

Serve as the primary point of contact and intake for the product development team.  

Collaborate with key development and business stakeholders to prioritize the product backlog.  

Lead product grooming and sprint planning sessions in collaboration with the engineering team.  

Manage capacity and resource planning to optimize product development and delivery.  

Clearly articulate product scope, ROI, and benefits to stakeholders and business teams.  

Work closely with stakeholders and engineering teams to plan and execute successful product releases.  

Align multiple domains (both technical and non-technical) to a common vision, providing clear communication of product details to both technical and non-technical audiences.  

Actively engage in the team's support channels, assisting and addressing stakeholder questions.  

Leverage understanding of technology trends to determine how platform and architecture decisions impact product roadmaps and user experience.  

Develop a comprehensive understanding of all products and technology managed by the team.  

Qualifications:  

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related discipline). An advanced degree is advantageous but not required.  

Previous experience of 8+ years in a product management role or similar capacity within the technology industry.  

Proven expertise in product management, demonstrating end-to-end ownership of complex products.  

Strong understanding of SDLC practices and web-based application development technologies.  

Good understanding of Web/API development using Java or NodeJS.  

Exceptional customer focus with a track record of successfully incorporating customer feedback into product strategies.  

Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.  

Outstanding communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.  

Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, capable of identifying and addressing challenges creatively.  

Understanding of technology trends and best practices within the industry.  

Proficiency in project and product management tools and methodologies.  

Prior development experience is an added advantage.
