As a Product Quality Leader (PQL) you will lead the work within the issue detection and pre-study area. You will use several different sources of information, i.e., quality reports, telematics, warranty, our dealer network to identify which are the issues that are affecting our customers the most and you will help to prioritize them, perform pre-investigations, and secure that appropriate corrective actions are taken together with the Product Owners. Your proactive approach will ensure timely mitigation measures, preventing customer dissatisfaction before it even arises.
Skills & knowledge:
• Product and system/application knowledge within Powertrain (ICE)
• Strong analytical skills, skilled in statistics and applied mathematics and good knowledge in database and data visualization applications such as Excel and Power BI.
• Systems knowledge of Volvo tools such as KOLA, ARGUS, Jira, LVD
• Communication, ability to provide information regarding tasks, plans, schedule, strategies and org structure to stakeholders, ability to communicate with many people and functions using oral as well as other presentation skills
