Project Overview:
The Program Coordinator would support the eMobility group by providing project planning and support to project managers, business development and marketing functions. Program Coordinator support functions include drafting funding agreements, tracking project budgets and spending, grant administration, analyzing usage and warranty data for electric vehicle (EV) charging equipment and processing purchase requisitions. The Program Coordinator assists in project planning by providing grant scouting, developing economic pro-forma analysis of projects, and providing project managers with research summaries. The Program Coordinator may also be tasked with assisting in the analysis of state or federal environmental or energy policies that may affect the eMobility program.
Job Functions & Responsibilities:
- Draft and provide advanced scouting for grant proposals and provide economic impact analysis for electric transportation projects.
- Assist in developing economic pro-forma analyses of electric transportation projects to measure fuel savings or emissions reductions by providing analysis of utility bills and other relative data.
- Determine whether organization qualifies for federal and state level grant opportunities by performing advance scouting.
- Draft project funding agreements and coordinate with organizations Legal and Procurement departments as well as the customer to bring to execution.
- Assist engineers in preparation and scoring of requests for proposals by tracking votes/scores, organizing interviews with bidders, and managing subsequent data collected relative to the scoring process.
- Assist in management of the eMobility Program by providing budget projections, budget tracking/spending reports, and customer service.
- Update departmental databases to track various projects and initiatives and provide support to staff and project engineers by performing web research, project budget tracking and analysis. Update and monitor various project data (i.e., contract commitments and emissions reductions, energy savings, etc.) in Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, and Primavera as the project proceeds from audit, feasibility, design, bid, construction, to closeout.
- Provide project accounting assistance by processing project invoices, generating purchase requisitions, accounting documents and memos.
- Coordinate special events for the eMobility group including customer meetings and outreach events.
- Support marketing and business development functions by analyzing warranty data on fleet of high-speed electric vehicle chargers.
- Provide maintenance of project audit files and records.
Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication required.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and keep track of multiple simultaneous projects.
- Understanding of grants and the grant proposal process for energy or environmental projects.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, Access)
- Knowledge of Primavera, and SAP preferred.
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelors degree in either business (economics, finance, marketing, etc), sustainability (energy policy, environmental studies, transportation planning) or technical field (engineering or science) required.
Minimum of 5 years of business relevant work experience required
