Project Manager / Scrum Master

We are seeking Project Manager/Scrum Master.

POSITION PURPOSE
The Project Manager/Scrum Master will be a blended role requiring both Scrum Master and project management skillsets. This position will embrace continuous improvement mindset by looking for efficiencies that enhance the team’s processes and pushes towards a more streamlined Agile practice.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Facilitate Agile ceremonies: daily scrums, story grooming, sprint planning, stakeholder demos, and retrospectives
Management release deployment activities.
Identify and promote new technologies for improving Agile Software Development.
Provide product management consultation and guidance in support of the PM efforts.
Compile metrics in support of communicating project health.
Anticipates and eliminates barriers/risks to project success.
Remove impediments face by the Agile team.
Support the Product Owner to prioritize and refine backlogs.
Possesses and applies an expert knowledge of project management principles, practices and procedures.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Create and maintain processes and artifacts for managing intake, prioritization, planning, execution and close-out of key business initiatives
Adaptive communication strategies for different target audiences with ability to employ negotiation, diplomacy, and conflict resolution.
Assist in the development of business cases, epics, features, stories or other requirement documents
Create and maintain visual information radiators and team/program metrics that demonstrate measurable process toward KPIs and delivery planned work.
Managed days-to-day operational aspects of multiple projects and scope.
Effectively apply best practice methodology, inspect, adapt and enforce standards
Ensure project documents are complete, current and achieved appropriately.
Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion

EXPERIENCE/BACKGROUND
2+ years’ experience as SCRUM Master.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
Agile Coaching preferred
Salesforce.com knowledge is a plus.
Exposure to digital and/or mobile products is nice to have.
Industry certifications (e.g. PMP, CSM) are preferable.
Proficient documentation and analytical capability.
Expertise in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and enterprise project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Clarity).
Comfortable interacting with different levels of management throughout an organization.
Well-versed with iterative development processes, QA and DevOps (e.g. CI/CD).

EDUCATION/TRAINING/CERTIFICATION
5+ years IT Project Management experience overall (both Waterfall and Agile based).

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to travel up to 10%
