Project Manager

As part of the team, you will be responsible for planning, staffing, tracking, and prioritization of OR projects, by:

• Establishing standards, processes, and documentation for OR projects
• Improving resource and project status tracking and reporting
• Improving project benefits measurement and the resource planning process
• Maintaining OR project portfolio and prioritization process
• Assisting with individual and specific projects that could benefit from having a project manager on the team.
• Working on special assignments as requested by the OR leadership team

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems, Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
• 3 years of progressive broad-based information systems and business experience
• 3 years of experience managing and delivering mission-critical, high-availability large and small IT and/or Analytics development projects using structured project management and system development methodologies

Preferred Qualification

• 3+ years of experience in Agile as an approach to software development
• 5+ years of progressive broad-based information systems and business experience
• Experience working with data sets using data-querying tools (e.g., SQL) and building dashboards in Tableau or PowerBI
• Familiarity with DevOps concepts and experience in introducing best practices to improve the speed and quality of software delivery
• Prior experience in managing projects and/or familiarity with technical concepts such as mathematical modeling, optimization, Machine Learning & AI is a plus

Skills & Certifications

• Certified ScrumMaster or PMP (Project Management Professional) is a plus
• Proficiency in Rally or similar Agile life cycle management tools
• Experience leading, coaching, and mentoring teams while leveraging Agile methodologies
• Experience working in an environment with competing priorities, ability to influence stakeholder and communicate priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Excellent leadership skills, team-focused with high energy and a positive attitude
• Ability to think strategically and develop tactical methods to achieve objectives and goals
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with team members, customers, and external groups
