JOB RESPONSIBILITES:

Test Planning

• Contribute to automated test creation and define testing processes

• Maintain library of test scripts, both manual and automated

• Assist developers in learning what tests need to be covered by unit tests

• Participate in project meetings, daily scrums, and planning ceremonies.

 

Test Execution

• Execute manual and automated test scripts against our ecommerce mobile app

• Report defects found during testing through creating tickets within Jira and reporting up to Product Owner

• Utilize a fleet of test devices and their test builds

• Work with our security team to validate findings of PEN and security testing

• Train junior QA analysts to execute test scripts providing oversite to their results

 

Production Support

• Participate in test execution efforts of scheduled app releases

 

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: Product Management, UX Design, Engineering

 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIRED:

• 5+ years QA/BA experience

• Experience

• Ability to work well in a dynamic, flexible team environment

• Must be a resourceful and proactive self-starter

• Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to balance high quality standards with schedule pressures

• Ability to stay flexible and solution-oriented

• Experience testing Android and iOS applications

• Experience with Jira or Azure DevOps is a plus

• Experience with Smart Bear, SoapUI or equivalent products is a plus

• Appium

• Mocha Chai Framework with Java script

• Browser Stack

• Techniques like WebDriver.io

• Proficiency in POM architecture
