<p class="MsoNormal">Our Field Service Diagnostics & Repair Engineering team is seeking candidates with strong software QA experience to validate diagnostic and repair tools used in field service channels. This position requires a hardworking, self-motivated individual with QA experience, excellent cross-functional communication skills, and an eagerness to adjust to rapid change.<br></p> <p class="MsoNormal"> </p> <p class="MsoNormal">Key Qualifications</p> <p class="MsoNormal">• 3-5 years of experience in software QA or related field</p> <p class="MsoNormal">• Demonstrated understanding of software QA methodologies </p> <p class="MsoNormal">• Curiosity and a willingness to deep dive into unfamiliar technical areas</p> <p class="MsoNormal">• Intimate familiarity with component isolation methodology and troubleshooting theory; familiarity with modern software debugging techniques is a plus</p> <p class="MsoNormal">• Demonstrated comfort with Darwin/Unix-like operating systems and navigating the command-line interface</p> <p class="MsoNormal">• Confident in managing and prioritizing daily tasks</p> <p class="MsoNormal">• Ability to distill complex technical information into clear and concise cross-functional documentation</p> <p class="MsoNormal">• Ability to develop comprehensive, user-driven test plans from software feature descriptions and business requirements documents</p> <p class="MsoNormal">• Strong written and verbal communication skills</p> <p class="MsoNormal">• Thrives in a dynamic, collaborative team environment</p> <p class="MsoNormal"> </p> <p class="MsoNormal">Description</p> <p class="MsoNormal">• Build and complete well-structured, end-to-end test plans and test cases, integrating feedback from developers and partners throughout the process</p> <p class="MsoNormal">• Use bug-tracking software to report all issues encountered during testing</p> <p class="MsoNormal">• Engage developers and team leads to help drive high priority issues to resolution</p> <p class="MsoNormal">• Provide program managers and team leads with timely, accurate QA status during all project testing phases</p> <p class="MsoNormal">• Provide support to developers, readiness, localization, and other cross-functional teams</p> <p class="MsoNormal">• Contribute to initiatives to improve the overall integration and QA process, such as identifying and closing gaps in testing coverage or inefficiencies in workflows</p> <p class="MsoNormal">• Complete and coordinate all activities in a test plan to ensure that objectives are met</p> <p class="MsoNormal"> </p> <p class="MsoNormal">Additional Requirements</p> <p class="MsoNormal">• Familiarity with AST 2 and/or AppleCare service strategies is preferred</p> <p class="MsoNormal">• Experience with Python or another scripting language is preferred</p> <p class="MsoNormal"> <br></p> <p class="MsoNormal">Education</p> <p class="MsoNormal">• 3-5 years of experience in software QA or related field</p> <p class="MsoNormal">• Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required</p> <p class="MsoNormal"><br></p> <p><br></p>
