Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented QA Lead to oversee the quality assurance efforts for our global digital platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing and quality management, with the ability to lead a team in ensuring that all aspects of the platform meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and reliability. This role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and operations, to develop and execute comprehensive test strategies that ensure a seamless user experience across multiple devices and regions.

Key Responsibilities:

Define and implement the QA strategy for the global digital platform, ensuring that it aligns with overall business goals and technical requirements.

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases, covering functional, non-functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.

Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of automated test scripts, ensuring that automation is effectively integrated into the development process.

Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, identify risks, and ensure that testing is aligned with project timelines

Lead the effort to identify, document, and track defects, working with the development team to prioritize and resolve issues in a timely manner.

Oversee performance testing efforts to ensure that the platform can handle expected user loads and deliver a fast, responsive experience.

Ensure that the platform meets quality standards across all regions, taking into account localization, accessibility, and different regulatory requirements.

Stay current with the latest QA tools, methodologies, and best practices, continuously improving the QA process to meet evolving project needs.

Establish and report on key quality metrics, providing visibility into the quality of the platform and identifying areas for improvement

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.

Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.

Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes, with experience in both manual and automated testing.

Proficiency with automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar, and experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.

Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) and techniques.

Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.

Experience working on global or multi-regional platforms, with an understanding of localization, accessibility, and cross-cultural testing considerations.

Proven ability to lead and mentor a team, with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment and present ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology
