To work in Sugar Land, TX and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. Responsible for quality assurance (QA) and testing of critical business applications. Create and execute tests to identify software problems and causes. Prepare and review test data, test scenarios, and test cases for manual and/or automated testing. Create test deliverables including test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Perform hands-on testing including system, functional, integration, regression, and/or user acceptance testing to ensure applications/products meet the business requirements. Involved in the complete software test lifecycle. Review and understand requirements and design, review test results, identify resolutions for defects identified during testing, and analyze and make recommendations for improvements. Ensure test results are accurate, thorough, and appropriately documented. Create periodic status reports for testing. Document software and application defects and report defects to software developers. Adhere to established QA practices, standards, and processes. Travel and/or relocation required.
