Core Responsibilities
Coordinate between various support teams to identify the root cause of all Network connectivity problems, create supporting documentation and drive problem tasks to prevent recurrence.
Knowledge of the primary AWS services (EC2, ELB, T-GW, RDS, Prefix list, Route53 & S3)
GitHub basics skills (repositories, branches, commits, and pull requests)
Strong track record of implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing environments.
Leading highly available and fault-tolerant enterprise and web-scale software deployments
Large scale migration experience Data Center to Data Center and/or Data Center to Cloud
Infrastructure automation through DevOps scripting (E.g., shell, Python, Ruby, PowerShell)
Configuration management using CloudFormation, Chef & Puppet
Strong practical Linux and Windows-based systems administration skills in a Cloud or Virtualized environment
Experience managing data center operations, including data assurance, monitoring, alerting and notifications.
Expertise in Linux based distros, and solid understanding of backup and restore technologies, Big Data Platforms, Analytics.
Extensive experience with cloud native orchestration using Kubernetes and containerized applications using docker.
Experience with observability products (such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, etc.
This person will also be responsible for owning the process, leading RCA activities, drive visibility, resolution and reporting for chronic & risk exception issues ensuring all tasks are tracked to completion.
Understanding of RAN architecture and interfaces
Experience in deploying RAN application (CU, DU) as VNF and/or CNF
Knowledge of O-RAN and/or C-RAN a plus.
Experience troubleshooting of 4G, 5G, and VoLTE, VoNR a plus.
Experience working in an operations or customer experience role.
Engage and escalate issues with the Tier II & III teams when critical/time sensitive support and resolution is needed.
Timely, Professional response to emails, phone calls executive notifications through routine and extended service impacting events.
Work with the team with the development of a Network Operations strategy that includes KPI and SLA management, organizational structure, fault/alarm management, performance management, tool.
Preferred Certifications - AWS Networking
Required Qualifications
Bachelors in a technical discipline such as Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
6 to 10 years of related, hands-on experience in performance management
Knowledge and experience in developing/deploying cloud native micro-services in Kubernetes.
Telecom background of 4G and 5G is a plus.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and presentations skills.
