REMOTE Control Systems Engineer

Job Duties:
· Control Systems Engineer will be responsible for:
· Leading and providing development life-cycle support (design, development, integration, verification and validation) for system/sub-system controls pertaining to aircraft systems
· Working with customer teams to perform controls design and development from customer specification through requirements definition, modeling, and testing.
· High and low level software requirements development; high and low level software requirements based testing, dynamic system analysis and simulation, including support of Model Based Design and Development efforts, and requirements management.

Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor's in engineering with five to seven years of experience in an Aerospace field or Masters in Engineering with three to five years of experience in an Aerospace field. Engineering degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Chemical or Electrical is required.
· Proficient in Mathworks tools (Matlab, Simulink and Stateflow)
· Skilled at controls modeling and analysis using one or more Mathworks tools
· Strong background and familiarity with control theory and control processes
· Knowledge of hardware-in-the-loop / software-in-the-loop techniques for controls verification and validation
· Proficient using Python and C++
· Due to nature of the work US Citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
· Experience with aircraft applications and knowledge of DOORS
· Experience with programming languages
· Experience with Atlassian tools
· Control Systems experience highly desirable
