Remote JavaScript Developer Jobs

A rapidly-growing company that has developed a free software and projects platform to protect netizens against mass surveillance is looking for a JavaScript Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for executing in-depth reviews and testing to catch as many bugs as possible before any code is shipped. The company plans, creates, and executes instructional content and solutions on various themes, including mass surveillance and decentralization. This will be a full-time role that requires some overlap with the PST time zone. Job Responsibilities: • Proactively learn and implement new tools and new ways of programming • Plan, design, and execute end-to-end web architecture • Ensure the highest level of quality and review other people’s code • Carry out potentially multiple rounds of pull request reviews Job Requirements: • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience) • At least 4+ years of relevant experience as a software developer • Extensive JavaScript knowledge and skills with infosec experience • Experience working in the browser and Node.js environment • Knowledge of more than one programming language and skilled at submitting pull requests • Thirst for knowledge and willingness to learn from peers
