Revit Architecture Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Revit Architecture Specialist to join our dynamic team in delivering high-quality architectural projects. This is a remote position, and you will play a critical role in supporting design teams through all project phases, ensuring accurate and efficient use of Revit software for BIM (Building Information Modeling) production. You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure the smooth execution of architectural designs within the digital environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Revit Model Creation & Management: Develop, modify, and maintain 3D architectural models, detailed drawings, and construction documentation using Autodesk Revit.
• BIM Coordination: Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate structural, mechanical, and electrical elements into a cohesive Revit model, ensuring accuracy and coordination.
• Detailing & Documentation: Produce high-quality, detailed architectural plans, sections, elevations, and 3D views using Revit for presentations and construction.
• Standards and Template Management: Develop and maintain office-wide Revit templates, families, and best practices to standardize workflow and enhance productivity.
• Clash Detection & Model Audits: Conduct clash detection and model audits to identify and resolve conflicts between different building elements or disciplines.
• Project Support: Provide day-to-day Revit support to project teams, helping resolve technical issues and providing guidance on efficient Revit workflows.
• BIM Implementation: Assist with the implementation of BIM processes and best practices across all project phases from conceptual design through to construction documentation.
• Collaboration Tools: Work with cloud-based collaboration tools like Autodesk BIM 360 to facilitate real-time teamwork and project coordination.
• Training & Development: Conduct Revit training sessions and tutorials for junior staff and new hires, ensuring team members are proficient in Revit workflows and standards.

Qualifications:

Required:

• 3+ years of professional experience in architectural design and drafting, with a focus on Autodesk Revit.
• Strong understanding of architectural design, construction documents, and building systems.
• Proficiency in Revit Architecture, including model creation, parametric family creation, annotation, and rendering.
• Experience in BIM coordination across multiple disciplines (architecture, MEP, structural).
• Experience with clash detection tools such as Navisworks.
• Strong understanding of building codes, construction methods, and materials.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with remote teams.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience working on large-scale architectural projects (commercial, residential, healthcare, or institutional).
• Proficiency in other design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, or Lumion.
• Familiarity with Autodesk BIM 360 for cloud collaboration.
• Knowledge of sustainability practices and LEED certification processes.
